Domains featured on GreatDomains are aggressively marketed through targeted campaigns to help sellers reach their maximum sales price.
There are two options for selling your domains with GreatDomains:
GreatDomains relies on Sedo's leading technology for buying, selling and transferring domains. Therefore, in order to sell domains on GreatDomains you need to list your domains with Sedo.com first and then either apply for participating in a Premium Auction Event or for a Top Domain Listing through Sedo's Domain Management System. Once being approved by Sedo's brokerage staff, your domains will also appear on GreatDomains' Website.
In order to qualify for a GreatDomains Listing your domain typically needs to meet the following criteria:
- The domain is short, a real word and is easy to remember
- It is a generic domain, e.g. like car.com, creditcard.com or books.com
- The domain is easy to spell and not prone to typographical errors
- The domain is product-related and therefore has a high commercial value
- The domain doesn't violate any third party rights (e.g. trademark rights)
- The TLD geographically matches the language of the domain name
- The reserve price for the domain is reasonable
